In two starts this fall, two Texas State women's players have won individual medalist honors.
Jonsdottir, a senior, shot rounds of 74-72-73 to finish at 3-over 219 at Silver Lakes Golf Club in Glencoe, Ala., and tie for medalist honors at the Chris Banister Gamecock Classic.
The Bobcats used a final-round 1-over 289, the second-lowest score in program history, to finish at 15-over 879 at the Chris Banister Gamecock Classic – 24 shots ahead of runner-up Middle Tennessee State.
Campbell posted the low round in the men's division of the Golfweek Program Challenge to share the 36-hole lead. The Camels recorded a 10-under 278 and share the lead with Jacksonville State at 21-under 555.
