Bae withdraws from Open Championship qualifier
Having gone 72 grueling holes in vintage Texas heat and wind to secure his first PGA Tour win, Sang-Moon Bae chose not to play 36 more to try and secure an Open Championship spot on Monday.

The AJGA's Thunderbird International Junior is set to take place May 25-27 at Grayhawk Golf Club's Raptor course in Scottsdale, Ariz. For the 13th consecutive year, the Thunderbird will boast a good field of homegrown American players along with an international mix.

The U.S. Golf Association has announced pairings and tee times for stroke-play qualifying at the U.S. Amateur, to be played Aug. 22-28 at the par-72, 7,760-yard Erin Hills Golf Club and par-70, 6,622-yard Blue Mound Golf and Country Club in Erin, Wis.
U.S. Open Local Qualifying results
Top finishers from each local qualifier will advance to one of thirteen 36-hole sectional qualifiers, to be played May 24 in Surrey, England, and Saitama Pref, Japan, and June 7 across the U.S.
